Job summary

Primary Residential Mortgage is seeking a high-performing Loan Officer ready to step into leadership while continuing to originate loans. This role focuses on scaling impact by leading a team, not micromanaging daily tasks, with dedicated infrastructure to support growth.

You will mentor and coach the sales staff, recruit talent, drive culture and performance, and maintain your own production. The compensation is driven by divisional P&L with strong benefits and travel opportunities.

Qualifications

Approximately 5 years of successful experience in retail mortgage origination.
Extensive experience managing a network of referral partners.
Compliance with mortgage and fair lending laws and PRMI policies.
Proven ability to recruit, hire, train, and lead branch personnel.
Excellent presentation and communication skills, both verbal and written.

What we’re looking for in a leader:

Approximately 5 years of successful experience in retail mortgage origination, to include Principal lending management roles. Less experience may be considered given past achievements.
You must have extensive experience managing and maintaining a network of referral partners to be considered for this position.
Employment with PRMI requires compliance with and adherence to all applicable mortgage and fair lending laws and regulations as well as PRMI policies.
Demonstrated ability to recruit, hire, train, lead, and motivate branch personnel.
Knowledgeable of, and committed to, QC compliance.
Ability to effectively and professionally handle difficult situations that may arise when working with branches/ division.
Excellent presentation and communication skills, both verbal and written.
Leadership skills evolving from a passion for sales accomplishment, team development, training, and practice growth.
Familiarity with Accounting terms and procedures (e.g. debits, credits, General Ledgers, etc.)
