Job summary

Primary Residential Mortgage seeks a Mortgage Regional Manager for the Retail Division to lead a high-performing loan origination team while staying active in production. This role emphasizes leadership without operational drag and focuses on scaling impact through mentorship and strong partner networks.

You will recruit, train, and coach branch personnel, maintain a focus on production growth, and drive performance while upholding compliance and quality standards.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of retail mortgage origination experience including leadership exposure.
• Must hold Mortgage Loan Originator License and Mortgage Principal Lending License.
• Proven ability to recruit, hire, train, lead and motivate branch personnel.
• Experience managing a network of referral partners.

We’re looking for a high-performing Loan Officer who is ready to step into leadership—without giving up production.

This is not a traditional management role. You won’t be buried in operations, fixing problems, or managing day-to-day workflows. What we’re looking for in a leader:

• Approximately 5 years of successful experience in retail mortgage origination, to include Principal lending management roles. Less experience may be considered given past achievements.
• You must have extensive experience managing and maintaining a network of referral partners to be considered for this position.
• Employment with PRMI requires compliance with and adherence to all applicable mortgage and fair lending laws and regulations as well as PRMI policies.
• Demonstrated ability to recruit, hire, train, lead, and motivate branch personnel.
• Knowledgeable of, and committed to, QC compliance.
• Ability to effectively and professionally handle difficult situations that may arise when working with branches/ division.
• Excellent presentation and communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Leadership skills evolving from a passion for sales accomplishment, team development, training, and practice growth.
• Familiarity with Accounting terms and procedures (e.g. debits, credits, General Ledgers, etc.)
