Human Resources Assistant
Job Description: We are seeking a motivated Human Resources Assistant to join our growing mortgage outreach team. In this role, you will provide technical and administrative support to the HR Team/Managers by accurately maintaining employee data/records/information, owning the administration of employment orientation, compensation/benefits, supporting the execution of cyclical processes, payroll, and owning all required record-keeping. To successfully complete this work, you will be required to interact with our team members at varying levels within the organization, as well as our stakeholders externally.
Job Responsibilities
- Assist Senior HR with organizing all personnel files and recordkeeping as needed for staff management and as required for compliance.
- Responsible for overseeing and participating in the timely and accurate reporting and processing of semi-monthly payroll for multiple locations in the U.S. and South Korea.
- Manage employee timecard/PTO usage/compensation & benefits/confidential information in a timely manner.
- Perform reconciliation of tax filings and assist with audits.
- Coordinate for on/off-boarding processes such as running background checks, coordinating orientation, obtaining new hire paperwork, and ensuring policies are acknowledged.
- Assist with full-cycle recruitment from the hiring process to the exit process.
- Oversee data entry in HR information systems (Paycor HCM) and utilize Excel for employee data/record keeping.
- Interpret employee engagement data and recommend action items to deliver results.
- Perform computer setup and software installation (Microsoft Office, Adobe, Calyx Point, etc).
- HRIS Experience, especially with Paycor.
- Bilingual (English & Korean spoken & written).
- California Labor Law/Labor Relations Knowledge.

Job Requirements

Mortgage Loan Underwriter
Job Description: Currently looking for an experienced Mortgage Loan Underwriter. Interested candidates must have at least 3 - 5 years' experience as a Mortgage Loan Underwriter.
Responsibilities
- Underwrite conventional loans within the company and investors' guidelines.
- Monitor updated guidelines and compliance issues.
- Review and update information on LOS to verify, add, delete, or waive conditions.
- Contact Account Executives and/or Loan Officers with the underwriting decisions or problems.
- Coordinate with Account Coordinators to ensure smooth flow of transactions.
- Provide reports and feedback to other staff and underwriting team.
- Support remote underwriters by reviewing and cleaning conditions, and coordinating to move files to Clear to Close when necessary.
Requirements
- Must have at least 3 - 5 years of experience as a Mortgage Loan Underwriter.

Entry-level Loan Servicing Specialist
Job Description: This position will report to the Loan Servicing Supervisor while working closely with team members to provide top-level customer service to our borrowers, loan officers, and investors. The team is responsible for interim servicing of the loans monthly until the loans are transferred to investors (servicing released) or to our sub-servicers (servicing retained). Must have a broad understanding of Mortgage Banking, investor guidelines, and regulatory compliance issues involved.
Job Responsibilities
- Maintain the loan database and process loan boarding.
- Follow up on due dates for taxes, hazard insurance renewals, mortgage insurance, and check up on investor's conditions.
- Manage loan servicing that includes payments, reserve accounts, taxes, and insurance.
- Respond to borrowers' inquiries and correspondence utilizing fax, phone, email, and mail.
- Address issues related to borrower accounts, and mitigate consumer complaints and disputes.
- Cooperate with the post-funders for clearing investors' conditions/issues in all areas of loan servicing.
- Analyze escrow disbursements and manage proper escrow levels.

Loan Documentation Specialist
Job Description: This position is to collect and prepare documents for closing a loan, coordinate the process, review papers to check for errors after closing, and when necessary, take action to correct those errors.
Job Responsibilities
- Preparing or assisting with loan documentation.
- Review loan application package for completeness and accuracy, possible fraud and/or inconsistencies.
- Ensures properly executed loan documentation in conformance with legal, regulatory, and bank policy standards.
- Ensures complete and accurate file submissions for processing.
- Communicate effectively with Mortgage Bankers and In-House Processing, Underwriting, Closing, and Post-Closing teams.
- Maintain strong knowledge of State/Federal regulations to maintain loan file compliance.
- Verifies and analyzes loan documentation including income, credit, appraisal, and title, while ensuring compliance with established standards and regulatory compliance requirements.
- Identifies and resolves discrepancies in files.
- Responsible for the delivery and communication of complete and accurate files to Underwriting and coordinates with Appraisal Review.
- Ensures satisfactory completion of conditions for approval to close.
- Monitor the status of loans in the pipeline on a regular basis to guarantee timely funding.
