Job summary

Metairie Bank is seeking a Mortgage Operations Support professional to assist the day-to-day functions of the mortgage department, including operations, compliance, loan processing, documentation management, and pipeline monitoring. You will work closely with compliance and other bank departments to ensure loans move smoothly through origination while maintaining service standards, with required S.A.F.E.

Act registration and knowledge of Laser Pro and Calyx Point.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• Two years’ experience working with loan documents.
• S.A.F.E. Act registration required at time of employment.
• Knowledge of Laser Pro and Calyx Point systems.

Responsibilities

• Assist manager with daily mortgage operations support duties.
• Review loan applications for errors and omissions.
• Prepare timely, accurate and compliant required preliminary disclosures and closing documents for both portfolio and secondary market loans.
• Performs other administrative and mortgage operations support duties as assigned by the manager.

Position Summary

Responsible for supporting the day-to-day functions of the mortgage department by assisting with operations, compliance, loan processing, documentation management, pipeline monitoring, borrower communication, and operational workflow coordination. This role works closely with all aspects of the Mortgage Department, compliance, and other bank departments to ensure loans move efficiently through the origination process while maintaining compliance and service standards.

Essential Job Functions

• Assist manager with daily mortgage operations support duties.
• Obtains a strong working knowledge of all bank and investor products, and mortgage regulations.
• Review loan applications for errors and omissions.
• Responsible for preparing timely, accurate and compliant required preliminary disclosures and closing documents for both portfolio and secondary market loans.
• Performs other administrative and mortgage operations support duties as assigned by the manager

Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience preferred.
• Two years’ experience working with loan documents required.
• Requires S.A.F.E. Act registration at the time of employment.
• Laser Pro and Calyx Point system knowledge.
