Job summary

JPMorgan Chase is seeking an Analyst in the CIO Market Risk team to support the second line of defense across Home Lending desks such as Pipeline Warehouse, Non-Agency Warehouse and MSR. You will monitor and report risks across Agency MBS, RMBS, and other structured products.

Under senior risk manager guidance, you will contribute to daily risk coverage, VaR, stress testing, limit monitoring, and scenario analysis, delivering clear risk insights for governance forums and management.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of market risk, front office, treasury, risk analytics, product control, or similar role experience.
• Bachelor's degree in finance, math, economics, business, engineering, or computer science.
• Strong quantitative and analytical skills with high attention to detail; ability to translate analysis into clear takeaways.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; comfortable collaborating with trading, risk, product control, and technology partners.
• Demonstrated ownership mindset: able to manage defined workstreams independently, prioritize effectively, and escalate issues appropriately.

Responsibilities

• Support market risk coverage for Home Lending desks including Agency, Non-Agency, MSR and hedges.
• Monitor daily risk measures and key changes in market risk and trading activity; escalate notable moves with context.
• Prepare risk updates for senior management and risk forums.
• Perform product- and trade-level analyses to identify material risks and emerging vulnerabilities.
• Assist with review of VaR, stress results, and limit management; support documentation for limit exceptions.
