Our South Florida mortgage company is looking for a phenomenal communicator who loves to serve people, is detail-oriented, organized, reliable, and hard-working to be our newest Loan Processor. This person must have sky-high integrity, an optimistic attitude, an enjoyable personality, and absolutely love to serve our clients. We're looking for someone who is hunting for a career with an energetic, innovative, high-producing local mortgage team. We only want someone who is genuinely a people-person and is a team-player. We work hard, helping a lot of people, but we have a lot of fun doing it. This is a full-time, salaried position.

Job Duties

• Obtain and assemble a complete loan package in proper order for underwriting.
• Verify all required documentation (pre-underwrite) in the file. Complete the required loan checklist.
• Verify the application is complete and accurate.
• Verify documentation submitted and identify any potential issues that may arise in underwriting.
• Perform a thorough review and analysis of borrower's credit, employment, income and assets as required by the particular program before submitting the file to the underwriter.
• Prepare a loan approval summary, the 1008 and the 1003 and ensure the accuracy of all information printed on said documents.
• Hand over a completely documented file to the underwriter which is ready for approval or denial.
• Manage pipeline by reports within allotted turn-around times.
• Assist set-up of loans.
• Document all communication related to the loan application in the conversation log.
• Train and help supervise new loan processors and other processing personnel.
• Performs such other duties as required.
