The Mortgage Loan Originator Team Lead is responsible for originating residential mortgage loans and supporting the loan production efforts within the branch. While the role does not include direct supervisory responsibility, the Team Lead may receive overrides on qualified loans originated by other Mortgage Loan Originators. This position must meet the Outside Sales Exemption criteria as defined by the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) and applicable state regulations, meaning a significant portion of the employee’s time is spent conducting sales activities away from the employer’s place of business.
