Texana Bank is seeking a Mortgage Loan Originator Assistant to provide administrative support to loan officers in the Mortgage Operations department. This full-time, hourly non-exempt role reports to the Mortgage Processing Manager and carries a $21.00–$26.00 per hour salary range.

The position involves handling inquiries, preparing notices and forms, and assisting with loan origination tasks while maintaining strict confidentiality of customer information and bank records.

Qualifications

• Must be able to demonstrate ability to adequately perform the duties listed above.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Proficient with Microsoft Applications.
• Experience processing real estate, consumer, and commercial loans preferred.
• Knowledge of lending policies, procedures, and documentation is a plus.
• Self-starter, dependable, and able to meet deadlines.

Position Summary

• Make calls on existing customers as needed.
• Responds to customers’ inquiries as appropriate.
• Prepares adverse notice notifications and forms, documents, and correspondence as needed.
• Performs other tasks requested by supervisor as they relate to the Bank and its functions.
• Maintain confidentiality of Bank’s records; customer accounts and information.

Qualifications
