Primary Residential Mortgage, Inc. (PRMI) seeks an experienced Loan Officer to join our retail team in Kalamazoo.

You will originate residential loans through self-sourced referrals and partnerships, building a robust pipeline while delivering outstanding customer experiences throughout the home financing process. You will cultivate relationships with realtors, builders, financial planners, and other sources, guiding clients from application to closing and ensuring compliance with lending

Qualifications

• Active NMLS license is required.
• Mortgage loan origination experience is preferred.
• Must be able to self-source and develop referral-based business.
• Established referral relationships and local market presence preferred.
• Strong sales, communication, and relationship-building skills.
• Knowledge of conventional, FHA, VA, USDA, and jumbo loan products.
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.

Responsibilities

This role is ideal for a self‑driven mortgage professional who excels at building relationships, originating business, and delivering an exceptional customer experience throughout the home financing process.

As a Loan Officer at PRMI, you will be responsible for developing and managing your own pipeline through self‑sourced referrals, Realtor partnerships, builder relationships, financial advisor connections, and community networking efforts. We are looking for individuals who are passionate about sales, relationship management, and helping clients achieve homeownership goals.

• Collaborate with internal operations teams to ensure timely and smooth loan closings
• Stay informed on mortgage products, market trends, and industry guidelines
