Job summary

The Mortgage Link is seeking a driven Mortgage Loan Partner 2 (LP2): Pre-Approval Specialist in the United States. The role focuses on borrower prequalification, pre-approvals, and pipeline execution to keep loans progressing smoothly through processing, underwriting, and closing.

You will collaborate with loan officers, borrowers, processors, and third-party partners to deliver timely closings and a concierge-level borrower experience.

Qualifications

• Active NMLS license required.
• Minimum 5 years of mortgage loan officer assistant, processing, underwriting, or origination experience.
• Proficient in DU/DO, LP, and investor guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Prequalify borrowers and engage referral partners with accurate information.
• Pre-approve qualified borrowers and prepare payment/scenario requests.
• Manage pipeline: onboard contracts, process disclosures, and ensure on-time closings.
• Communicate clearly with borrowers and referral partners to maintain 95%+ on-time closings.
