Job summary

Huntington Mortgage Banking is seeking a Retail Mortgage Loan Officer to deliver exceptional customer service and advise clients on mortgage options from application to closing.

You will develop internal and external referral sources, build community relationships, and maintain a robust client pipeline while guiding applicants through underwriting requirements. Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• 1+ years mortgage loan origination experience, preferably at a bank
• NMLS license or eligibility

Responsibilities

• Develops new and expands referral sources to grow mortgage business
• Advises clients on mortgage loan options and other financial products using consultative selling
• Provides excellent customer service from application through closing, coordinating with underwriting
• Maintains client relationships and pipeline
• Advises customers on completing loan applications
• Performs other duties as assigned
