The Mortgage Law Firm in Albuquerque, NM seeks an associate attorney to manage foreclosure-related litigation, loss-mitigation, and related matters. You will draft pleadings, attend hearings, supervise paralegal staff, and serve as the main client and staff contact to move files forward.

Qualified candidates hold a Juris Doctorate and a New Mexico Bar license in good standing, with at least five years of experience in real property and foreclosure work.

Qualifications

• This position requires a Juris Doctorate and New Mexico Bar license in good standing.
• 5 years of experience as an associate attorney.
• Background in real property, foreclosure, and title preferred.
• Dual licensure in NM and TX/OK/AZ/CO preferred.

Responsabilités

• Preparation of pleadings, motions and correspondence relating to foreclosure-related litigation.
• Attend court hearings, mediations, and depositions.
• Supervise paralegal staff in preparation of work-product.
• Manage all actions and act as prime contact for clients and staff.
• Learn and use internal case management systems to move files forward.
• Provide excellent customer service to clients.
• Assist Managing Attorney with other tasks as assigned.
