Job summary

NOFS (Northern Ohio Field Services) is seeking an experienced Mortgage Field Inspector to join our Warren, OH team. You will conduct residential property inspections to verify occupancy status and document findings using our inspection software.

This is a contract/1099 role. You’ll set your own schedule, travel to assigned properties in Warren and nearby counties, and complete inspections within required timelines while maintaining accurate records and professional communication.

Qualifications

• Reliable transportation is required.
• Experience in Default Mortgage Inspections is preferred.
• Experience with InspectorADE is a plus.
• Effective communication with clients and team members is essential.
• Ability to work independently, without supervision, to complete tasks accurately and efficiently.
• US Citizen or Green Card holder; willing to obtain Shieldhub/ABC background check.

Responsibilities

Job description

Job Summary: NOFS (Northern Ohio Field Services) is currently seeking an experienced Mortgage Inspector to join our growing team in Warren OH. As a Mortgage Inspector at NOFS, you will be responsible for conducting inspections on residential properties to ensure occupancy status. This is a Contractor Other position and the successful candidate will work independently, without supervision, to complete assigned tasks accurately and efficiently.

Compensation & Benefits: We offer a fee for each inspection. This fee varies by location and volume. You can expect to earn between $25 and $35 per hour. As a contractor, you will also have the opportunity to set your own schedule and work autonomously.

Mortgage Field Inspector

Responsibilities

• Conduct residential property inspections to ensure occupancy status, deliver delinquency letters, conduct insurance inspections
• Utilize inspection software and tools to document and report findings
• Take photos of properties and deliver documents as needed
• Complete inspections within designated timelines and meet performance metrics
• Communicate with account manager in a professional manner
• Keep up to date with industry regulations and guidelines
• Maintain accurate records and documentation of inspections
• Maintain professionalism at all times.
• Drivers License, insurance and reliable transportation. Must pass background check to obtain Aspen Grove number, not reimbursed.
• Prefer 6 months in the inspections field, or working as a 1099 employee
• Strong attention to detail and excellent time management skills
• Proficient with technology and able to learn new software and tools quickly
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
• Ability to travel to various properties in Warren OH and potentially other surrounding counties.
