Job summary

NOFS (Northern Ohio Field Services) is seeking a Mortgage Field Inspector in Linton, IN. The contractor will conduct residential property inspections to verify occupancy and document findings, working independently with minimal supervision.

You will earn $25–$35 per hour, set your own schedule, travel to assigned properties, and ensure timely completion with strict attention to accuracy and compliance. Prior inspection experience and a valid background check are preferred.

Qualifications

• 6 months in inspections field or as a 1099 worker preferred.
• Experience in Default Mortgage Inspections.
• Experience with InspectorADE software.
• US Citizen or Green Card holder.
• Willing to obtain Shieldhub/ABC background check.
• Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.

Job Summary:
NOFS (Northern Ohio Field Services) is currently seeking an experienced Mortgage Inspector to join our growing team in Linton, IN. As a Mortgage Inspector at NOFS, you will be responsible for conducting inspections on residential properties to ensure occupancy status. This is a Contractor Other position and the successful candidate will work independently, without supervision, to complete assigned tasks accurately and efficiently.

Compensation & Benefits: We offer a fee for each inspection. This fee varies by location and volume. You can expect to earn between $25 and $35 per hour. As a contractor, you will also have the opportunity to set your own schedule and work autonomously.

• Drivers License, insurance and reliable transportation. Must pass background check to obtain Aspen Grove number, not reimbursed.
• Prefer 6 months in the inspections field, or working as a 1099 employee

• Proficient with technology and able to learn new software and tools quickly
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
• Ability to travel to various properties in Linton, IN and potentially other surrounding counties.
