The Army National Guard is seeking Indirect Fire Infantrymen to operate mortars and engage in direct combat tasks. Candidates will learn valuable skills while earning a regular paycheck.

Positions offer paid training, retirement benefits, and tuition assistance. Ideal candidates are physically fit, mentally resilient, and ready to face challenges. Must be at least a junior in high school, or possess a GED.

Qualifications

• Must have military enlistment in the Army National Guard.
• Must pass a physical exam and meet legal and moral standards.
• Must be between the ages of 17 and 35.

Responsibilities

• Set up, load, and fire three types of mortars.
• Conduct scouting missions to spot enemy positions.
• Supervise and train other soldiers in mortar operations.
