Job summary

ComForCare Home Care is seeking caring individuals to join our home care team. We value our aides like family and are dedicated to helping clients live their best life possible.

We welcome both new entrants and experienced Personal Care Aides to apply, with flexible scheduling based on availability and preferred locations. Essential duties include personal care such as bathing, grooming, mobility assistance, toileting, light homemaking, and safe use of equipment.

Qualifications

• Six months of experience as a Personal Care Aide (PCA) or similar caregiving role.
• Valid driver’s license with access to insured vehicle or reliable transportation.
• High school diploma or GED is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with personal care tasks: bathing, dressing, grooming, nail/skin care, mobility, transfers, range of motion and use of assistive devices.
• Perform light homemaking duties: vacuuming, dishes, bed linens, bathroom cleaning after use.

Essential Functions

• Personal Care: Performs and/or provides assistance with: bathing, dressing, grooming, nail /skin care, back care, foot care, shampoo, oral hygiene, ambulation, transfers, range of motion exercise, safe use of equipment and assistive devices such as (transfer lift, transfer board, wheel chair, walker, or cane), help with toileting, changing a brief, commode, and incontinent care.
• May Perform light homemaking activities which include (but are not limited to): vacuuming, dusting, sweeping or mopping floors, doing dishes, changing bed linens, and wiping down bathroom after shower

Qualifications / Educational Requirements

• High school graduate or G.E.D certificate
• At least six months experience as a Personal Care Aide
• Possess a valid driver's license and have use of an insured automobile or access to adequate transportation for the job
