Job summary

Federal Express Corporation seeks a part-time package handler in Honolulu to move packages, documents and supplies using proper scan/load methods. This is a non-driving position with heavy lifting up to 50 lbs and required ability to work in all weather conditions.

Applicants must be able to walk, stand, climb stairs or ladders if needed, and communicate effectively in a noisy environment. Shift: Mon–Fri 6:00 AM to 12:00 PM; pay rate $19.78/hour.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift 50 lbs from ground to chest level.
• Ability to maneuver packages above 50 lbs with equipment or assistance.
• Able to walk and stand for designated work hours.
• Able to bend and squat for designated work hours.
• Able to climb stairs and ladders if required at location.
• Ability to communicate effectively in a noisy operations environment.

Responsibilities

• Provides movement of packages, documents, dangerous goods and/or supply support in a timely, safe and efficient manner through effective scan/load methods.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• This is a non-driving position (public roadways).
