Job summary

iHeartMedia, a leading audio company in America, seeks a morning show Broadcast Producer to plan and produce multiple live and pre-recorded radio shows featuring news, music, talk, sports, traffic and features.

You will direct presenters, manage budgets, obtain licenses, and produce audio/video clips for social media, while researching and pitching original ideas to elevate show quality.

Qualifications

• Creative mindset for ideation and planning.
• Strong writing and storytelling adaptable to platforms.
• Knowledge of radio market and audience demographics.
• Experience with recording equipment and radio studio.

Responsibilities

• Generate original ideas and conduct thorough research.
• Research information, obtain materials and assist with guests.
• Direct presenters, content providers and crew.
• Manage budgets and resources efficiently.
• Obtain licenses for recording/broadcasting and use of music/sound effects.
• Monitor listener emails and responses.
• Collaborate with contributors to ensure QA and standards.
• Operate broadcasting tech and editing software.
• Schedule and monitor the radio stream during live sessions.
• Assist with time-keeping, archiving and post-production editing.
• Produce audio/video clips and post on social media.
