Job summary

Kids World Learning Center is staffing morning shifts for Child Care Workers in Statesboro, GA. Shifts run from 6:45am to 2:00pm, Monday through Friday, with additional on‑call coverage as needed.

Applicants must be at least 21 years old with a high school diploma or GED and two years of experience with children and families, or an associate’s degree or higher in a behavioral or social science field. A valid driver’s license and insurance are required.

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid driver’s license and automobile insurance.
• Must have no criminal history of misdemeanor or felony offenses.

• Must possess organizational skills.
• Must work well under pressure and handle responsibilities independently.
• Must remain calm and respond quickly in emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Monitors daily activities of children and maintains records.
• Supervises and assists children daily, ensuring safety and well‑being.
• Maintains a nurturing attitude and is available while on duty.
• Complies with SOPs, policies, and licensing requirements.
• Identifies behavior needs and reports daily to supervisor.
• Maintains facility in a neat and orderly manner.

CURRENTLY STAFFING FOR MORNING SHIFT

We are seeking Child Care Workers that can work morning shift from 6:45am to 2:00pm Monday - Friday. We are also looking for Child Care Workers that would be able to work on an as needed basis to cover for other staff that need time off.

Required Experience**

• Child Care Workers must be at least 21 years of age and possess at least a high school diploma or GED and two (2) years of experience with children and families or an Associate’s degree or higher in a behavioral or social science field.

• Must possess a valid driver’s license and automobile insurance.
• Must have no criminal history record convictions of misdemeanor or felony offenses from any state.
  
• Must be able to relate to and work well with children and adults.
• Must possess organizational skills.
• Must be able to work under pressure and handle responsibilities independent of supervision.
• Must be able to remain calm and respond quickly in emergency and/or crisis situations.
• Must provide appropriate role model behavior for children

Responsibilities

• Monitors daily activities of children and ensures accurate and complete records.
• Supervises and assists children daily, ensuring safety and well-being.
• Employs a nurturing attitude toward children, ensuring availability while on duty.
• Performs all duties in compliance with standard operating procedures, policies, and licensing requirements.
• Identifies individual behavior problems and needs of children and prepares daily report on each child to Director, Assistant Director or HSP.
• Maintains the facility in a neat and orderly manner.
• Identifies and reports needed repairs for facility to Director of Assistant Director.
• Administers acceptable disciplinary procedure as outlined in policy and procedures.
• Attends staff meetings and training as required.
• Performs duties within licensing requirements and Kids World Learning Center policy and procedure.
• Performs all other duties as assigned by the Director or Leadership Team
