Job summary

Morrison Healthcare is hiring a full-time Prep Cook at Ballad Health - Franklin Woods Community Hospital, Johnson City, TN. The shift runs 5:30 am to 3:30 pm with weekends and holidays rotating. Previous food service and prep/cooking experience is required. This position includes criminal background and drug screening after offer.

Qualifications

• Previous food service and prep/cooking experience required.

Responsibilities

• Prepares items on production sheets following established quantities and recipes.
• Obtains daily production schedule and preparation requirements from the Chef.
• Operates and cleans equipment per department procedures after each use.
• Stores, labels and dates all food items according to policy; follows HACCP guidelines.
• Takes orders from customers and prepares items requiring short prep time.
• Serves customers efficiently and at multiple stations.
