Job summary

Flik Hospitality Group is hiring a full-time Prep Cook for the Inova Commons Cafe in Fairfax, VA 22031. Schedule is Monday–Friday, 6:30 am–3:00 pm; online applications accepted only. Requires at least 1 year of prep cooking experience. Internal Employee Referral Bonus available.

Responsibilities include following production sheets, preparing items, maintaining production logs, and ensuring HACCP compliance while serving customers efficiently at multiple stations.

• 1 year prep cooking experience required.

Responsibilities

• Prepares items on production sheets following quantities/recipes.
• Completes daily production worksheets and waste logs; tastes meals for quality.
• Operates and cleans equipment per procedures after use.
• Stores, labels and dates all food items according to policy; follows HACCP guidelines.
• Takes orders from customers and prepares items with short prep times.
• Serves customers efficiently and warmly; handles orders from steam tables/grill.
