Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor’s degree in Broadcast Journalism, English fluency, and at least five years of news experience, plus skills with OBS/VMIX and a flexible shift schedule.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
  • Fluency in English.
  • Knowledge of OBS/VMIX systems preferred.
  • Five years' experience in news reporting or anchoring.
  • Excellent on-air presence and news judgment.
  • Ability to coach or mentor others.
  • Valid driver's license with a good driving record.
  • Flexibility to work any shift.

Responsibilities

  • Presents news stories and other content for all platforms.
  • Writes and delivers news stories clearly.
  • Produces newscasts and directs team members.
  • Assists in writing, copy editing, researching and coordinating news programming.
  • Acts as a field reporter as assigned.
  • Conducts interviews with news personnel and others.
  • Responds to breaking news and urgent newsroom situations.
  • Participates in promotional activities including public appearances.
  • Edits video clips as assigned.
  • Writes content for website and eMedia platforms.
  • Interacts with viewers on social media.
