Job summary

Kana Hotel Group seeks a friendly Laundry Attendant to support our hotel operations in Duluth, GA. You will operate washers and dryers, manage linens, and help ensure clean, well-stocked laundry rooms for each floor. Excellent customer service and independent work style are valued in this role.

Responsibilities include loading, sorting, folding linens, and maintaining equipment. Previous laundry or housekeeping experience is preferred, with attention to detail and reliability prioritized.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous housekeeping experience preferred.
• Previous experience with washer/dryer equipment required.
• Able to work independently.
• Customer service experience.

Responsibilities

• Load articles into washers and dryers.
• Understand and add specified amounts of detergent, soap, or other cleaning agents.
• Operate the washer and dryer controls.
• Clean the lint in the dryer filters twice a day.
• Transfer linens from washer to dryer after washing cycle and start next load.
• Ensure storage and laundry rooms are locked before clocking out.
• Sort linens to locate stained or torn items.
• Maintain count of discarded items.
• Fold and stack towels, sheets, and other linens.
• Clean storeroom and laundry area.
• Process damaged linen.
• Make sure there are enough linens per floor and stock each floor.
• Other duties as assigned.

Primary Responsibilities

• Load articles into washers and dryers
• Understand and add specified amounts of detergent, soap, or other cleaning agents
• Operate the washer and dryer controls
• Clean the lint in the dryer filters twice a day
• Transfers all linens already in the washer to the dryer immediately upon completion of the first washing cycle, put a new load in the washer and performs the basic duties upon completion of the first drying cycle
• Ensures that all storage & laundry rooms are locked before clocking out
• Removes laundry from chutes & carts; presorts linens to locate stained or torn items
• Maintain count of discarded items
• Fold & stack towels, sheets, and other linens
• Clean storeroom & laundry area
• Process damaged linen
• Make sure there are enough linens per floor and stocks each floor
• Other duties as assigned
