Job summary

Kellermeyer Bergensons Services (KBS) is hiring a Janitorial Crew Member to support daily cleaning tasks across facilities. The role offers morning shifts and opportunities to grow within a fast-paced, expanding team.

The position emphasizes reliability, physical stamina, and adherence to safety procedures, with benefits for eligible staff and a company culture rooted in respect and service excellence.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift and move totes up to 49 pounds.
• Reading and interpreting documents such as safety rules and operating instructions (English; Spanish where required).
• Familiarity with mobile timekeeping software KBSPresence.

Responsibilities

• Performs work according to standard procedure and by building's operational schedule.
• Cleans rooms, hallways, restrooms, locker rooms, offices, stairways, and windows.
• Sweep, remove debris, clean spills, and mop floors throughout the sales floor and seating area.
• Clean windows and mirrored surfaces; polish stainless steel surfaces.
• Dust fixtures, shelves, and products as needed.
• Maintain the cleanliness of the customer and team member restrooms (includes cleaning and policing as needed).
• Complete sweep logs, as directed.
• Operate and sanitize all equipment in a safe and proper manner.
• Follow and comply with all applicable health and sanitation procedures and adhere to safe work practices.
• Other duties as assigned by the supervisor or manager
