ABM Industries is seeking a reliable Janitorial Cleaner for facilities across assigned sites in Fruitland, NM. The role involves performing a variety of cleaning duties to maintain a clean, safe, and orderly environment and contribute to a positive experience for employees and visitors.

Typical schedule is day shift, 6am–2:30pm, Monday through Friday, with pay at $15.00 per hour. ABM offers a comprehensive benefits package and values military-friendly hiring.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in janitorial, custodial, or cleaning roles is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Familiarity with cleaning chemicals, equipment, and safety standards.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and polishing floors and surfaces.
• Clean and sanitize restrooms, replenish supplies, and ensure hygiene standards are met.
• Empty trash and recycling bins in accordance with company policies.
• Clean windows, mirrors, and other glass surfaces.
• Maintain and store cleaning equipment and supplies properly.
• Report any maintenance issues, safety hazards, or supply shortages to the supervisor.
• Assist with setup and cleanup for meetings, events, or special projects as needed.
• Follow all safety procedures and company protocols related to cleaning and sanitation.
