Job summary

Flik Hospitality Group in Linden, NJ is hiring for a full-time Grill Cook. The role prepares food at the grill station and serves customers in a fast-paced environment in accordance with federal, state and company standards.

This position requires previous food service experience, offers competitive pay of $20.00–$22.00 per hour and a schedule Monday through Friday, 6:00 am to 2:30 pm, with free meals, uniforms and laundering services at select locations.

Qualifications

• Previous food service experience required.

Responsibilities

• Takes orders and prepares items requiring short preparation.
• Completes orders from steam tables and serves customers at multiple stations.
• Ensures food is at correct temperature and visually appealing.
• Uses approved recipes and production standards for quality.
• Carries pans, kettles and trays safely between stations.
• Stores foods in designated areas following wrapping and dating procedures.
• Maintains sanitation of all work areas and equipment.
• Resolves customer concerns and reports to supervisor.
• Attends in-service and safety meetings.
• Maintains good working relationships with coworkers and management.
• Performs duties safely in a clean, safe environment.
