Job summary

Chartwells K12 is hiring immediately for full time and part time Food Service Worker positions in Lamar, Colorado. Location: Lamar Re2 – 210 West Pearl Street. Schedule: Monday through Thursday, 6:00 am to 2:00 pm; details provided during interview. Pay range is $15.16 to $16.50 per hour.

Prior food service experience is preferred. Internal employee referral bonus available. We prepare, present and serve food as needed, following safety standards and recipes.

Responsibilities

• Prepares, presents and serves food as needed.
• Performs prep work such as washing, peeling, cutting and seeding fruits and vegetables.
• Weights and measures designated ingredients.
• Carries pans, kettles and trays of food to and from work stations, stove and refrigerator.
• Stores food following wrapping, dating, food safety and rotation procedures.
• Cleans work areas, equipment and utensils.
• Distributes supplies, utensils and portable equipment.
• Uses approved recipes and production standards for quality and portions.
• Serves customers in a friendly, efficient manner.
• Resolves customer concerns and relays information to supervisor.
• Ensures compliance with sanitation, safety and inventory procedures.
