Job summary

The Indiana Repertory Theatre seeks a diligent Janitorial Staff member to maintain cleanliness of offices, restrooms, kitchens, dressing rooms, and lobbies. Shifts run 7:00 AM to 11:00 AM, Monday through Friday, supporting a safe and welcoming venue for staff and patrons.

Responsibilities include reporting maintenance needs to the Building Manager and performing other tasks as assigned, with a focus on reliability, safety, and respectful collaboration across theatre operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred.
• Housekeeping experience a plus.
• Flexible and resourceful.
• Ability to work responsibly unsupervised.
• Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds regularly.
• Must frequently communicate with staff and patrons.
• Must move about all offices/theatres.
• COVID-19 vaccination, one booster, and proof of both vaccinations are required for employment at the IRT.

Responsibilities

• Clean offices, restrooms, kitchens, dressing rooms, and lobbies.
• Report any maintenance, supplies, or other needs to the Building Manager
• Other duties as determined by the Building Manager
