Job summary

Anoplate Corporation in Syracuse, NY seeks a Maintenance Technician for a 4:00am-12:30pm shift to support plant and office operations. You will perform waste removal, grounds upkeep, safety equipment checks, and assist mechanics and electricians as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum High School diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Remove plant and office non-hazardous solid wastes as needed.
• Assist with maintenance of outside facility areas such as parking lots and employee park.
• Maintain egress plan and ensure access doors are unobstructed and functioning.
• Maintain safety equipment including mirrors, eyewash stations, and signage.
• Perform physically demanding tasks like moving materials and operating basic equipment.
• Oversee ancillary equipment, daily checks, and routine maintenance (blasters, exhaust systems, lighting, steam apparatus).
• Maintain campus building and grounds conditions, including painting and minor repairs.
• Perform PMs on assigned equipment as instructed.
• Assist mechanics and electricians in daily activities.
