Qualifications

• Requires 48 hours of college credit or an associate degree to meet Title I.
• Must meet State Rule 11 with early childhood coursework or equivalent.
• Associate Degree in Early Childhood preferred.
• Must be 19+ and meet NE licensing including CPR and First Aid (or willing to obtain).
• First-year training: 6 hours; second-year 6 hours completed.

Responsibilities

• Assist in Early Childhood program with 3-5 year olds in learning and social activities.
• Assist breakfast and lunch setup/cleanup; facilitate learning, play and self-help tasks.
• Support teachers in implementing Individual Education Programs for children with disabilities.
• Perform non-teaching duties as assigned.
