Job summary

ESS Clean, Inc. is seeking a dependable Morning Cleaner for a facility in Decatur, Illinois. This is a part-time morning position from 7:00 AM to 11:00 AM, with client presence on-site.

Cleaning experience is helpful, but not required — training will be provided. You’ll follow established cleaning and safety procedures and work independently to keep spaces clean and ready for employees throughout the day.

• We’re looking for someone who: Is dependable and able to consistently work the scheduled morning hours
• Can follow established cleaning and safety procedures
• Pays attention to details and takes pride in their work
• Can work independently and stay on task
• Is comfortable being active throughout the shift
• Communicates when they have a question or notice a problem

Responsibilities

• Clean offices, restrooms, break areas, and other assigned spaces
• Empty trash and replace liners
• Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors
• Clean and disinfect surfaces and high- touch areas
• Restock paper products and other supplies
• Follow site-specific cleaning and safety procedures
• Keep assigned areas clean and ready for employees throughout the day
• Communicate with your supervisor when supplies are needed or something needs attention
