Job summary

Sweetwaters Coffee & Tea in Ann Arbor is seeking friendly Baristas who enjoy working with people and making coffee, espresso, and tea beverages. Our established premium coffeehouse brand has operated for over 33 years and is located inside Pierpont Common on the University of Michigan North Campus.

Responsibilities include preparing drinks to standards, delivering excellent guest service, handling cash, keeping the cafe inviting, and staying knowledgeable about our offerings.

Qualifications

• Strong customer service skills and a friendly, welcoming attitude.
• Cash handling experience and basic register operation.
• Able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced cafe environment.
• Reliable availability, including mornings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Prepare coffee, espresso, tea drinks to company standards.
• Provide friendly, accurate, and efficient guest service.
• Perform cash handling and accurate transactions.
• Keep the cafe clean, organized, and inviting at all times.
• Maintain knowledge of products offered at Sweetwaters.
• Assist in opening the cafe.
