Appalachian Community Services provides Mental Health, Behavioral Health, Substance Use, and Developmental Disability services to individuals, families, and communities within the seven western counties of North Carolina. We provide a wide range of walk-in, psychiatric, substance abuse, and crisis services to adults and children.
We are actively seeking a compassionate and skilled MORES Therapist to join our team full-time. This role is essential to our mission, providing therapy, crisis support, and service coordination for mental health clients in a variety of settings. As a MORES Therapist with Appalachian Community Services, you will provide community-based crisis intervention services to youth experiencing acute mental health and/or substance use crises. Intervention may involve rapid response, connecting youth and families with necessary resources, providing immediate support to stabilize the situation, and working with other service providers to coordinate care.

This position is a fixed rate, with compensation aligned to role responsibilities, experience, and contract parameters.
Compensation: $70,000
