Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in education or related field.
• Montessori certification (AMS or AMI) through MACTE.
• Experience with children aged 3–6.
• Support mission to nurture character and uniqueness of each child.
• Three years of classroom experience with children aged 3–6.
• Bilingual preferred (English/Spanish).

Responsibilities

• Support Good Shepherd’s holistic education mission for spiritual, intellectual, emotional, and physical development.
• Plan, implement, and maintain a Montessori prepared environment for ages 3–6.
• Plan and present lessons within the Montessori framework across curricular areas.
• Observe students and adapt lesson plans to needs and interests.
• Develop instructional materials to meet diverse learners.
• Supervise classroom assistants and guide their professional development.
• Communicate effectively with students, colleagues, parents, and admin.
• Attend and participate in school events with hospitality.
