Netivot is seeking a full-time 7th-8th General Studies Teacher for the 2025-26 school year in East Brunswick, NJ. The role uses Montessori methodology to teach Math, Reading, Writing, Language Arts, History, and Science, in collaboration with a Judaic Studies co-teacher.

In addition to delivering engaging instruction, you will record progress, maintain classroom culture of ~15 students, and communicate with parents and supervisors to support student growth.

Qualifications

• Experience implementing Montessori-based instruction to middle school students.
• Ability to integrate Math, Reading, Writing, Language Arts, History, and Science using Montessori approaches.
• Experience collaborating with co-teachers and Judaic Studies staff.

Responsabilités

• Teach General Studies across Math, Reading, Writing, Language Arts, History, and Science.
• Record and report on student progress.
• Manage a classroom of approximately 15 students using positive discipline.
• Meet with team members regularly and maintain strong communication with parents and supervisors.

Netivot, a private Montessori-based day school in East Brunswick, NJ, seeks a full time 7th-8th General Studies Teacher for the school year 2025-26.

Responsibilities include teaching General Studies subjects (Math, Reading, Writing, Language Arts, History, Science) using Montessori methodology; working alongside a Judaic Studies co-teacher; recording and reporting on the progress of all students; managing a classroom of 15 students using positive discipline; meeting with other team members on a regular basis and maintaining strong team communication; communicating with parents and supervisors as necessary. Experience with informal education is a plus!
