Jefferson County Public Schools' Coleridge-Taylor Montessori site seeks an Instructional Assistant to support classroom activities and student learning. Start time is 8:40am with two vacancies for the 2026-2027 academic year.

Duties include tutoring, documenting progress, and organizing instructional materials under supervision. Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED and Kentucky para-educator assessment or college hours; strong language skills and prior classroom experience

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Passing Kentucky Para-educator Assessment or 48 semester hours required.
• Demonstrated competent language skills and ability to work with children.

Responsibilities

• Tutoring students and assisting in documentation of pupil progress.
• Preparation and organization of materials and equipment under teacher supervision.
