Job summary

RHYTHM OF LEARNING MONTESSORI seeks an Infant Teacher who can actively engage infants in developmentally appropriate Montessori-based activities. The role emphasizes clear communication, collaboration with staff, and adherence to safety and licensing standards.

The ideal candidate will have early childhood experience in Montessori settings, with DCF 45 Hours required and a preference for bilingual English/Spanish speakers.

Qualifications

• Requires DCF 45 Hours to apply.
• Minimum 1 year experience in early childhood education preferred.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement engaging, developmentally appropriate lessons.
• Follow Montessori philosophy with guidance provided.
• Foster an inclusive, safe, and supportive learning environment.
• Collaborate with teachers and staff to maintain a cohesive classroom.
• Observe, assess, and document children’s progress.
• Ensure compliance with licensing standards and school policies.
• Maintain CPR and First Aid certifications and safety standards.
• Complete annual in-service hours as needed.
• Attend monthly staff meetings.
