Job summary

Carney, Sandoe & Associates is seeking an Elementary School Teacher for a Montessori program in Rochester, MN, starting Fall 2026. The teacher will deliver Montessori lessons to a mixed-age group (ages 6–9) and partner with an experienced assistant.

Qualifications include a Bachelor's in Elementary Education, 2+ years of K-12 teaching, and U.S. work authorization. Montessori certification is preferred or obtainable after hire.

Qualifications

• Master's degree preferred.
• At least 2 years of K-12 teaching experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Montessori lessons in a mixed-age classroom (ages 6–9) with an assistant teacher.
• Support hands-on and integrated learning, fostering early childhood development and literacy skills.
• Collaborate with colleagues and work closely with early elementary students.
• Build a joyful, nurturing classroom community with strong classroom management.
• Supervise children in the classroom, recess, and field trips.
