Qualifications

• Must hold or be on track to obtain MACTE Primary Montessori credential within two years of hire.
• Eligible to complete Bezos Academy Montessori Primary teacher coursework (MCP) at no cost if not credentialed.
• Background checks and TB screenings required by Texas to supervise children independently.

Responsibilities

• Support lead teachers in preparing and delivering Montessori activities.
• Assist in presenting lessons and adapting activities to each child's stage.
• Observe and assess each child's progress to inform instruction.
• Promote early literacy, math and problem-solving through hands-on work.
• Maintain a well-organized, safe classroom environment.
• Help with daily living skills and routines for children.
