Job summary

Guidepost Montessori in Marietta is hiring a Part-Time Assistant Guide for Mondays through Fridays, 1pm–6pm. You will support a mixed-age Montessori classroom (0–6) and help create a calm, engaging environment where children can explore and grow at their own pace.

You’ll observe, assist with individualized and small-group activities, and build warm relationships with children and families, collaborating with Lead Guides to foster a strong classroom community.

Qualifications

• Experience with children aged 3–6 in a school or childcare setting.
• Positive, adaptable, and collaborative mindset.
• Genuine love for working with young children.
• Interest in Montessori approach; prior Montessori experience welcome but not required.

Responsibilities

• Observe children closely to understand and support their individual needs.
• Help prepare and maintain a beautiful, orderly classroom environment.
• Support individual and small-group learning activities
• Build warm, respectful relationships with children and families
