Job summary

First Student, Inc. is hiring a Part Time School Bus Monitor/Aide in Butler, NJ to assist the driver and ensure a safe journey for students. No prior experience required as comprehensive safety and training programs are provided.

You will help students board and exit, assist those with special needs, and maintain orderly behavior while on the bus. The role offers weekday splits, competitive hourly pay, and growth opportunities across our 540 locations.

Qualifications

  • At least 21 years of age.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work flexible split shifts (AM/PM).
  • Physical ability to assist students and perform emergency procedures.
  • CPR/First Aid certification preferred.
  • Friendly, reliable, and patient working with children.
  • Team-oriented with a focus on safety.

Now Hiring Part Time School Bus Monitors/Aides - Butler, NJ

As a Part Time School Bus Monitor, you will play a vital role in your community and the lives of the students. You will assist the bus driver in providing an excellent and safe journey for students to and from school.

No experience as a School Bus Monitor is required! We will guide you with our industry-leading safety and training programs.

Your day as a School Bus Monitor/Aide will include:

Language Requirement

This role requires English proficiency. Federal, state, and local requirements, including U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations, require training, safety communications, company policies, employment documents, and other job-related communications be conducted in English.
