Job summary

LifeBridge Health's Northwest Hospital is seeking a Monitor Technician for the Progressive Care Unit (PCU). You will provide continuous monitor observation, document rhythm strips, and communicate rhythm changes to the nursing team to support patient safety.

Preferred candidates have less than one year of related experience and the ability to interpret heart rhythms independently, with High School or GED credentials.

Job description

Join a growing healthcare system at LifeBridge Health's Northwest Hospital as a Monitor Technician on our Progressive Care Unit (PCU).

Under general supervision and according to established policies and procedures, the Monitor Tech provides continuous monitor observation and rhythm strip documentation. Documents and interprets rhythm strips for all patients. Communicates appropriate nurses of changes in cardiac rhythms. As a member of the nursing unit, conducts self to promote an organized and positive environment.

The Progressive Care Unit is a cornerstone of acute patient care, managing 35+ patients with diverse needs including telemetry monitoring, complex cardiac procedures, and medical-surgical recovery. Under general supervision and according to established policies and procedures, provides continuous monitor observation and rhythm strip documentation.

Experience:

• Less than one year related experience
• Must have knowledge and capability of interpreting heart rhythms/telemetry independently

Pay Range: $20.00 to $27.29 Based On Experience
