Job summary

Adventist Health Rideout in Marysville, CA seeks a Telemetry Monitor Tech to monitor cardiac rhythms, read and relay critical data, and provide clerical support.

Responsibilities include continuous ECG monitoring, documenting arrhythmias, EMR order entry, and assisting with admissions and discharge. Education: HS diploma required; Associate's preferred. CPR/BLS required. On-site position.

Qualifications

• Education: HS diploma or GED required; an Associate's/Technical degree preferred.
• CPR or BLS certification from approved vendor per AH policy required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required by AH policy.

Responsibilities

• Monitor ECG continuously, identify and interpret rhythms, document arrhythmias and report changes to nursing staff.
• Support unit monitoring and evaluation processes and provide frontline EMR order entry support for physicians and staff.
• Monitor EMR throughout the day and address concerns with the registered nurse as necessary.
• Assist with admission and discharge processes; ensure physician progress notes are ready in chart.
• Maintain Central EKG Telemetry Monitoring system for Direct Observation Unit.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Job Summary

Performs a variety of duties connected with cardiac rhythms displayed monitor screens. Reads, interprets, and relays pertinent information regarding the cardiac monitors to the appropriate personnel. Provides clerical support.

Job Requirements

Education and Work Experience:

• High School Education/GED or equivalent: Required
• Associate’s/Technical Degree or equivalent combination of education/related experience: Preferred

Licenses/Certifications:

• Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy: Required

Facility Specific License/Certifications:

• Basic Life Support (BLS)certification from approved vendor per AH policy: Required

Essential Functions
