Southern California Hospitals is seeking a Monitor Technician to provide continuous observation of patients' cardiac rhythm and identify basic arrhythmias. The role requires promptly notifying licensed staff of changes and troubleshooting monitoring systems.
The incumbent will mount rhythm strips, maintain accurate telemetry documentation, and ensure infection control practices are followed.
Position Summary
The Monitor Technician provides continuous observation of the patients’ cardiac rhythm. Identifies basic arrhythmias and provides prompt notification of changes/issues to the licensed nurse or Physician. Troubleshoots false alarms and system issues. Documents values and mounts rhythm strips according to unit standards.

Pay Rate: Min - $23.30 l Max - $32.10
Note: These rates are referred to as 12-hour rates; the rate is calculated by averaging 8-hours at the base rate of pay, and 4-hours of overtime. These 12-hour rates will not show up on your paystub as base rates
