Job summary

Main Line Health, Inc. is seeking a Monitor Technician to support patient care by watching cardiac monitors, identifying EKG rhythms, and clearly communicating rhythm changes to the nursing team.

Ideal candidates have at least a high school diploma with one year of monitor technician experience; certification is preferred. We offer tuition reimbursement up to $6,000 per year, plus benefits such as free employee parking and attractive scheduling options.

Qualifications

• One year of monitor technician experience preferred.
• High School or GED required.
• Certification as Monitor Technician preferred.

Responsibilities

• Observe cardiac monitors and identify EKG rhythms.
• Interpret changes in EKG rhythms and dysrhythmias.
• Report rhythm changes completely and accurately to nursing staff.

• 36 Hours per Week, Night Shift (7:00 pm — 7:30 am)

• 2/4 Weekend Program, Night Shift

• 2/4 Weekend Program, Day Shift

Position: Monitor Technician

Shift: Various — See Above (12 hour shifts/36 Hours per week, with every 3^rd^ weekend rotation)

++Experience:++

One year of experience as a monitor technician preferred.

++Education:++

1. High School or GED equivalent.

2. Preferred completion of technical cardiovascular program.

++Licensures/Certifications:++

Preferred certification as a Monitor Technician.
