Job summary

Maria Parham Health in Henderson, NC is seeking a Monitor Tech to join our in-person team. In this role you will continuously monitor multiple patient monitors, identify significant arrhythmias and distress, and intervene as needed to support nursing staff.

You will be responsible for recognizing artifacts, reporting abnormal telemetry findings, and testing equipment to ensure proper operation. We offer comprehensive benefits and a supportive environment focused on patient care.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate's Degree preferred.
• Handle with Care (HWC) within 6 months of hire/transfer

Responsibilities

• Performs continual surveillance of multiple monitors.
• Identifies significant arrhythmias and/or signs of patient distress and intervenes appropriately.
• Identifies and corrects for artifacts.
• Reports abnormal assessment and telemetry findings or changes in patient physical, mental, and emotional conditions to nursing staff.
• Tests equipment for proper working order.
