AHMC Healthcare Inc. is seeking a Monitor Technician in Riverside, CA. The role focuses on reading and interpreting cardiac monitors, transcribing orders, and maintaining accurate unit logs under the direction of a licensed nurse.

Qualifications include completion of Basic Arrhythmia, BLS Level C certification, basic computer skills, and knowledge of medical terminology. Monitor Technician experience is preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Accurately and timely transcribes all orders from the chart to order entry in Imed including CCU orders and DOU emergency orders.
• Utilizes computer skills for accurate unit census and order entry, and maintains all log books (i.e. census, telemetry, consults).

Overview

The Monitor Technician is skilled in reading and interpreting cardiac monitors and arrhythmias. Demonstrates responsibility and accountability for clerical support on the patient care unit. Maintains accurate order entry transmission of physician’s orders to ancillary departments. Works under the direction of a licensed nurse.

Responsibilities
