Job summary

Jupiter Medical Center in Palm Beach County seeks a Monitor Technician to join its nursing team. You will interpret cardiac monitor data under the direction of a Registered Nurse and maintain continuous observation of patient rhythms.

The role requires a High School diploma, at least 1 year of experience, BLS certification, and rhythm strip interpretation skills. You will report rhythm changes to the charge nurse and assist the team as needed.

Qualifications

• Basic Rhythm Strip interpretation exam with a pass score of 80% or higher.
• BLS certification through the American Heart Association for Healthcare Providers.

Physical Requirements

This job can be physically demanding at times requiring stooping, sitting, standing, and walking for long periods of time. The team member will need to frequently assist lifting patients and heavy equipment. Must be able to work in a stressful environment, work independently, making sound decisions, detail oriented, alert, and self-motivated. Ability to push/pull up to 40lbs, carry and lift up to 50lbs.
