Job summary

Piedmont Columbus Midtown seeks a Telemetry Technician to provide continuous ECG monitoring, assess EKG strips, and interpret cardiac rhythms and dysrhythmias. You will measure P-R intervals, QRS widths, and ST deviations, troubleshoot monitoring problems, and maintain inventory of telemetry hardware and transmitters.

Education requires a high school diploma or GED; no experience is required, with a preference for 1 year as a monitor technician. Certifications are encouraged.

Qualifications

• PHC telemetry monitoring competency assessed within 30 days required.
