Job summary

Community Health Systems is seeking a Monitor Technician to provide continuous surveillance of telemetry monitors, document rhythms, and notify the care team of changes. You will ensure equipment is properly configured and lead the flow of information to nurses and physicians to support safe patient care.

Responsibilities include recording rhythm strips, identifying life-threatening arrhythmias, trouble-shooting monitors, and maintaining accurate equipment tracking.

Qualifications

• Telemetry or EKG interpretation training completed during orientation.

• Ensures accurate lead placement and electrode application to maintain optimal telemetry monitoring.
